On one of my final days in Vietnam, I found myself in Hanoi, eager to connect with fellow Porsche enthusiasts. I reached out to the Porsche Club in Saigon, hoping to find someone in Hanoi willing to share their time and passion for cars. Little did I know, this simple request would lead to an unforgettable experience filled with my favorite things: food, friends, and of course, Porsche.
The day began with a serendipitous meeting with Sean and his stunning Crayon Colored Taycan GTS. (chalk in North America) Over breakfast at a cozy local spot, we indulged in bún dọc mùng, a Vietnamese delicacy that was a first for me. Fuelled by delicious food and newfound camaraderie, we made our way to the Porsche Studio to meet Hieu, where our adventure truly began.

Driving through the bustling streets of Hanoi, we marveled at the city's vibrant energy and architectural wonders. At the studio, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, and I was gifted a Porsche Desk Calendar – a token I'll forever cherish as a memento of this special day.
With cameras securely in hand, we embarked on a mission to immortalize the essence of Porsche amidst the captivating backdrop of Hanoi's iconic landmarks. Our journey led us to the serene shores of West Lake, where the gleaming waters provided a tranquil setting for our photoshoot. Against this picturesque backdrop, the sleek lines and bold design of the Porsche Taycan GTS stood out, exuding an aura of sophistication and power.
As we navigated the bustling streets near Hoàn Kiếm Lake, we were met with a flurry of activity – from street vendors peddling their wares to locals going about their daily routines. Amidst the hustle and bustle, we found moments of serenity, capturing the juxtaposition of modern luxury against the timeless charm of Hanoi's old-world architecture.
Our journey continued along Ngô Quyền Street, where we stumbled upon the perfect spot to showcase the beauty of the Taycan GTS. With majestic buildings towering overhead and the soft glow of streetlights illuminating the scene, we captured images that truly encapsulated the essence of urban elegance.
Each location offered its own unique charm and character, providing a rich tapestry of backdrops for our photoshoot. From the tranquil beauty of West Lake to the bustling streets of Hanoi's city center, we were inspired by the diversity and vibrancy of our surroundings, resulting in a collection of images that perfectly captured the spirit of our adventure.
But the day was about more than just cars and photography – it was a celebration of friendship and shared passions. Over lunch at a renowned Chả Cá eatery, we savored the flavors of Hanoian cuisine, each dish a testament to the city's rich culinary heritage.
As the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and explore the beauty of Hanoi in such a unique way. With plans to reunite in either Hanoi or Saigon in the coming summer, I look forward to the next chapter of our adventure – wherever the road may take us.
